24 of my Favorite Cold Weather Recipes

24 of my Favorite Cold Weather Recipes

I am all about cooking and baking in Fall/Winter, not unlike my summer and spring, but cold weather is different, I get to make some of my favorite recipes for it. I have decided, as the generous soul that I am, to share my favorites with my readers! Maybe it will bring inspiration even possibly dinner (or breakfast!) to your table. Let me know if you use these recipes and how they turn out for you...?

Soup

Miso

Miso is the BEST winter warm up soup. You can never go wrong with yummy broth and tasty tofu on a cold day, and this recipe from steamy kitchen is as close to the family recipe you can get.

I made this soup right as winter was setting in and I cannot wait to make it again. Its super simple and easy to make, not to mention amazingly tasty!

Chicken noddle soup has it all protein, carbs, and veggies! Which always makes this the perfect lunch soup.

My best friend used to make this all the time when we lived together, and the first time she made it I was slightly skeptical. Every time after that I got excited! This soup is so delicious, and and, in fitting with the theme, very easy to make.

Sides / Appetizers

If I can get my husband and my step father to eat brussel sprouts like this, you have to know that means these are amazing!

Garlic Cauliflower Mash

We both never really liked cauliflower until I made this for the first time. My husband likes it because it doesn't taste like a vegetable, so I can get him to eat healthy without complaining about it!

Dill Fingerling Potatoes

The first time I ever went crazy for these was in Las Vegas at the Paris, and this is the closest I have ever come to matching them. Totally worth the trials trying to find this one though!

Soy Sauce Green Beans

I usually serve these cold, as I believe that soy sauce tastes better cold, but don't be afraid to try them warm too!

I make this recipe whenever I have browned bananas, though I've noticed that I am putting in more chocolate than it calls for, sorry not sorry!

I only make apple pies twice a year because they aren't a quick dessert to make, but this recipe is so close to my family recipe that all the work is worth the end result!
